Our Re-Opening Plan

Our Re-Opening Plan

We want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the front line workers who have gone above and beyond to keep Canadians safe. What you have done over the last three months is truly amazing and greatly appreciated by us all.

Having been part of this community for over 42 years, it’s really nice to see a community come together and support one another during this pandemic. We would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us with our takeout service and our Liquor store.

We have been working hard to getting the John B back to a socially safe space where you can go. ” Your home away from home”. These are the changes you can expect to see:

  • No employee is allowed to work if they show any signs of COVID-19

  • A waitress to greet and seat you

  • There must be no more than six patrons seated at a table (order of the Provincial Health Officer)

  • One phone number must be given from all tables (order of the Provincial Health Officer)

  • Safe distance of 6 feet between seats

  • All staff have been trained in cleaning & sanitizing protocols

  • All staff will be wearing masks, and gloves while serving food

  • Signage will be posted throughout the pub for guidance

  • Reduced our capacity by 50% to maintain best practice of social distancing

  • All menus, pay machines & tables will be wiped and sanitized after every use

  • If a patron feels or looks ill they should not enter and may denied entry

  • Patrons not practicing proper social distancing will be asked to leave
